Picture this: early alarm, commute, corporate jargon, another string of “urgent” emails. That was Ali’s world for years.
She’s done a bit of everything – welcoming visitors at the Tower of London, working with animals at Banham Zoo, navigating the shipping industry, and handling the detail-heavy world of insurance. It was stable, sensible, and exactly what you’re “meant” to do.
But deep down, Ali didn’t just want a career.
She wanted a calling.
She dreamed of a little space of her own. A shop where women felt instantly at ease. Somewhere warm, welcoming and real – with pieces chosen because they’re loved, not because a head office said so.
So she did the brave thing: she stepped away from the corporate ladder and poured her energy into building A Boutique.

From day one, Ali’s vision for A Boutique was simple:
